Quran - Surah No. 23 المؤمنون
Ayah No. 1-2
أَعـوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْـطانِ الرَّجيـم
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَۙ (1) الَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ فِىۡ صَلَاتِهِمۡ خَاشِعُوۡنَ (2)
Translation:
Success is really attained by the believers (1) who are concentrative in their Salah (prayers) (2)

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to stand (in the prayer) or pray till both his feet or legs swelled. He was asked why (he offered such an unbearable prayer) and he said, "should I not be a thankful slave."
